This is a permanent job for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a manufacturing company based in Tyseley B11.

Brake Press Operator Overview:

• The company make secure door entry systems for public buildings.
• You will be responsible for operating a brake press.

Brake Press Duties:

• You will operate brake press machines to produce sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Responsible for setting up and adjusting machinery for optimal performance and efficiency.
• There is manual handling loading the sheets into the machines to be bent.
• Uploading the basic programs and following the paperwork for production qualities.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Brake Press Operator Experience:

• Experience in operating brake press machinery or similar equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments accurately.
• Maths skills are needed for interpreting measurements and specifications.
• A background in sheet metal fabrication is important.

Brake press Operator Hours:

• 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
• Overtime may be available
